our prime strategy
our mission
our beginnings
In 2020, stc announced its plan to establish a digital hub for the MENA region to contribute towards achieving the KSA Government 2030 vision. This led to the creation of a new independent entity called center3, previously known as project “MENAHub”. With existing and planned assets, center3 is expected to reach a value of 2 Billion US dollars by the end of its first year of business. The vision of stc Group is to position the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the heart of international data connectivity, connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa, while also becoming a data center hub for the MENA region. Due to its strategic geographical location, KSA is an ideal location for hosting content and cloud applications, serving the surrounding countries as well. With its integrated platform, center3 aims to provide hyperscalers, gaming and content providers, cloud providers, and global international carriers with unparalleled flexibility and speed to better serve their regional customers.
the foundation of center3's value proposition is
built on agility, neutrality, and providing customers in the MENA region with a comprehensive solution for their hosting and connectivity needs. By optimizing internal operations, leveraging economies of scale, prioritizing cost efficiency, and consolidating group assets and activities, center3 represents stc group's response to the rapidly changing market landscape. Building on the past stc's extensive expertise, center3 has established strong market credibility and delivers an unparalleled experience that embodies true 'carrier neutrality'.
furthermore, center3 has made ecological sustainability
a cornerstone of its operations and has integrated such considerations into the future requirements of its infrastructure, including its state-of-the-art data centers. Going forward, center3 will continue to pursue a 'business-as-usual' growth strategy, investing in new submarine routes, data centers both within and beyond KSA, and international POPs. At the same time, center3 will remain vigilant for opportunities for inorganic expansion.
